Extensive Scan - Partition Recovery Software

Extensive Scan method is an advance recovery mode embedded in RecoveryFix for Windows. This scan method is quick and overcomes the Quick Scan mode in data recovery. This scan method can recover the files and folders which could not be recovered with Quick Scan recovery mode.

Select the Extensive Scan recovery mode.

Select Partition:

As you select the Extensive Scan option, the partition recovery software displays Physical Devices and Logical Devices of your computer system. Select the appropriate corrupt drive which you want to scan.

If you do not know the drive which is corrupt then you should select one of the physical devices of your computer system. RecoveryFix for Windows will automatically search for the deleted and missing partitions.

Searching Partitions:

RecoveryFix for Windows will start searching the available partitions in your computer system. If any Logical Device is selected, the basic configurations like volume name, capacity, SPC and file system will be displayed of that particular drive.

By default RecoveryFix for Windows will display the correct file system of your partition but if you think that the file system is different then RecoveryFix for Windows enables you to select appropriate file system for your partition.

Scanning Partition:

RecoveryFix for Windows will then start scanning sectors of the partition for data. This process takes time in scanning the partition as the partition recovery software scans every sector of the drive for data.
As the scanning process gets completed, RecoveryFix for Windows will display the found file systems.

Tree Structure Display:

The traced data of the specific partition will then be displayed in a tree like structure. Here you can select and view preview of the file which you want to recover.

Recover and Save:

Select the files and folders which you want to recover and click the Recover button. The saving option window will be displayed to select location of the recovered results.

You can now view the recovered file(s) and folder(s) from the saved location.
